Overview

Sanur's Best Dining is a curated restaurant directory for Sanur, Bali. This policy describes what information the app collects and how it is used.

Account Information

When you create an account, the app collects your email address and a password (managed securely by the platform's authentication system). You may optionally provide your full name. Google sign-in is also available as an alternative registration method.

Membership

If you have an active Insider or Local Insider membership, the app stores your membership plan type, activation status, and expiry date. Membership is purchased through the Sanur's Best Dining website, not through the mobile app. The mobile app is consumption-only and does not process payments.

Saved Restaurants

When you save a restaurant to your favourites, the app stores that reference locally in your device's browser storage (localStorage). Favourites are not linked to your account and are not stored on the server. They remain on the device you saved them on and are used only to display your saved list.

Analytics

The app tracks basic usage events (such as page views and feature interactions) to help improve the experience. No personal data is included in these events.

• Location or GPS data
• Camera or microphone access
• Contacts or address book
• Photo library access
• SMS or call log data
• Device identifiers for advertising

Third-Party Services

The app links to the following external services:

• Google Maps — for restaurant location and directions links
• Grab and Gojek — for ride-booking links to restaurant destinations
• Restaurant websites — external links to official restaurant pages
• Stripe — processes membership payments and receives the information necessary to process the transaction, including your email address and payment details. Sanur’s Best Dining does not store full card details.

These services have their own privacy policies. The app does not share your personal data with them.

Data Storage

Account, membership, and saved restaurant data is stored securely on the platform's hosted backend. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Your Rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting us through the Sanur's Best Dining website.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings screen in the app. When you do, your account and associated personal information will be permanently removed. Linked membership access will be deactivated. Payment transaction references may be retained for reconciliation. Restaurant listings, Featured advertising status, and promotions will remain unchanged. If you manage a Featured Partner account, your portal access and saved contact details will be removed.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
